Across the Mazatzals
The plan was to do a four-day loop over Labor Day, starting at Barnhardt and reaching all the way into the western Mazatzals. However, after a tough first couple of days, I ran into a wasp on the third day and had an adverse reaction to it. What started as a relatively easy adventure through overgrown trails turned into a semi-emergency situation that involved Katie, Chris, and an early exit down Davenport Trail.
