Alder Hills

Up in the northern crook of County Road 510, just south of Big Bay, lies two big hills with a waterfall squeezed in between. The eastern Alder hill rises to 1300’, while the western goes over 1400’, and they both promise views of the shoreline below. I take on the hills on a hot summer day in this two-part hiking story.
