Copper Camp Loop
Nestled in the remote western Mazatzal Wilderness is a treasure trove of connecting trails just waiting for long backpacking weekends. This particular loop is over thirty miles long, and while there is a lot of boring two-track to reach the loop, the trails themselves are spectacular. From Copper Camp Creek to Squaw Flat to Sheep Creek to Sears Trail, this overnight trip was a challenging and rewarding adventure.
