Hidden Valley on Bluff Spring Mountain
Bluff Spring Mountain is shaped like a giant trough, the peak of 4152’ leading into a long valley stretching northwards. This hidden valley holds mining history, a seasonal spring, and is surrounded by towering cliffs. And it has a waterfall at its end. The isolation and difficulty makes for an ideal backpacking destination, although I decided to do it as a tough day hike.
