Parker-Moody-Coon Loop

There is a few trails in the southern Sierra Ancha Wilderness that make a natural lasso loop. A natural, thirty-mile, remote loop, with decommissioned trails and traverses through devastated burn areas. Even though it’s been over a year since I attempted any sort of backpacking trip, this seemed like a great re-introduction to both the wilderness and to multi-day adventures, and armed with minimal gear it was time to tackle this rugged land.
